The Senior Experience & What to Expect
01. CHOOSING LAUREN SAUER PHOTOGRAPHY
If you are seeking true color, natural light images that capture you in your element, I think you will be pleased with my photos!
02. LOCK IN YOUR DATE
If it sounds like Lauren Sauer Photography fits the bill for you, head over to the contact page to start the process! Our first step will be choosing a date & time, which are officially locked in with a $50 deposit contributed to your final session cost.
03. QUESTIONS & CONTRACTS
In order to best prepare for our session, I will have some questions for you to answer about yourself and your expectations for our shoot. Additionally, you will receive a contract that will need to be signed and returned prior to your session.
04. FINAL DETAILS
We will be in touch 1-2 weeks before your session to finalize and confirm any details. I will answer any additional questions you may have and we can confirm outfit choices (if desired).
05. PHOTO DAY
This is where we get to have the most fun! We will meet at our chosen location. You will come prepared with your outfits, and I will be ready to guide you through all of your photos with poses, prompts, and lots of laughter.
06. PHOTO DELIVERY
Your gallery of hand-picked, naturally edited photos will be available in 2-3 weeks time in an online gallery. From there you will be able to download images and order any prints you desire. Good luck choosing your favorites!
FAQ
What do I wear?
Whatever you are comfortable in (within reason)! When you book with me you will receive a full Senior Experience guide to help you in your outfit decisions as well as additional guidance from me if desired.
What if I want to travel out of town for my photos?
Out of town photos are always an option. For the sake of mileage/gas and time, additional cost is added for travel outside of Genesee county.
Can I include my pet in some of my photos?
You bet! As long as you have someone available to attend to your pet while additional photos are being taken, we can make it happen.
How long does it take to recieve the photos after the shoot and how will they be delivered?
Photos take about 2 weeks to edit. Once edited they are delivered to you in an online portfolio where you can choose to download digital files as well as order prints of your photos.
Can I bring a friend with me?
Please do! Having a friend or family member come along to be an extra set of eyes and to help you feel more comfortable is a great option. However, please don't bring an entourage, as too many people may distract from your experience.
What happens if the weather is bad?
I am always keeping my eye on the weather for shoot days. If conditions are poor we will likely work together to choose another day that works for everyone.
The one behind the camera
My name is Lauren. I live in Flint, Michigan with my husband, our three kids, and a black lab.
Photography has always been a hobby of mine, and it wasn't until a few years ago that I considered the possibility that I could turn it into more than a hobby. I have a lot of fun creating and capturing moments to help people hold onto their memories.
